Partner Data Ingestion Rate Limits

Rate limits and payload caps for inbound data ingestion into MoEngage from CDP partners such as Segment, Adobe Real-Time CDP, and mParticle.

When you forward data into MoEngage from a Customer Data Platform (CDP) partner such as Segment, Adobe Real-Time CDP, or mParticle, inbound ingestion is subject to the rate limits and payload caps below.

Ingestion Limits

Ingestion rate limits are enforced per workspace and vary by partner:

Partner	Ingestion rate limit	On breach
Twilio Segment	500 RPS	Requests above the limit receive HTTP 429. Segment retries automatically, so data is not lost in most cases.
Adobe Real-Time CDP	500 RPS	Requests above the limit receive HTTP 429. Adobe retries automatically.
mParticle	15,000 RPM (~250 RPS)	Events above the threshold may be dropped and are not retried.

The maximum payload size per request is 128 KB across all partners. Requests larger than this receive a 413 error.
